Responsibilities

Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first orthopedic surgery and inpatient rehabilitation facility in the Las Vegas area. The Valley Health Specialty Hospital is the first of its kind to offer both specialty orthopedics and inpatient rehab in one location.

Job Description: Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting functional mobility and
providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum level of independence.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from a university program satisfying the APTA academic
and intern requirements for competence.

License/Certification: Nevada State License as a Registered Physical Therapist (see note below). Current BLS
certification.


Other: Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the
patients served on the assigned unit/department.


Note: May work as a Graduate of Physical Therapy with recognization of the Board of Physical
Therapy Examiners with on-site direct supervision.
