We are seeking a Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to provide exceptional care at a premier medical facility located in the heart of Midlothian, Virginia. This facility offers a comprehensive practice setting that includes both office and inpatient coverage. You will be joining a dedicated team committed to supporting high-risk pregnancies and ensuring the best outcomes for mothers and their babies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for high-risk maternal-fetal patients, managing complex cases.
- Conduct essential procedures including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage (preferred).
- Collaborate with a support team including nurses, a sonographer, and a genetic counselor.
- Utilize EMR software (EPIC, viewpoint) for patient documentation.
- Offer prenatal care and manage prenatal assessments and diagnostics.
- Participate in on-call duties during weekdays and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine (required).
- Completion of a relevant Medical Fellowship (required).
- Active Virginia medical license (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- AIUM Certification (preferred).
- Ability to work at multiple locations as necessary.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Virginia Medical License.
- BLS Certification.
