This role seeks board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians to provide specialized care for high-risk pregnancies across multiple clinics and hospitals in Atlanta, GA. Candidates will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, manage a high delivery volume, and participate in telemedicine programs. Position: Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician Atlanta, GA (Perm)
Overview:
We are seeking two highly skilled Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists to join the esteemed team at Pediatrix in Atlanta, Georgia. Since 1995, our practice has been dedicated to providing comprehensive maternal-fetal care across multiple outpatient clinics and hospital settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative maternal-fetal medicine services to a diverse patient population across four clinics and five hospitals, including Northside Hospital and Gwinnett Medical Center two of the area's premier facilities.
- Manage a combined delivery volume of approximately 25,000 annually, offering expert guidance on high-risk pregnancies.
- Participate in an attractive call rotation with balanced coverage, contributing to both inpatient and outpatient care.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising eight MFMs, seven OB/GYNs, experienced nurse practitioners, and sonographers to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Support obstetric hospitalist services across most partner hospitals.
- Oversee NICU support, working alongside our affiliated group of neonatologists.
- Engage in and contribute to our pioneering telemedicine program, enhancing access to specialized maternal-fetal care throughout Georgia.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, maintain high standards of patient safety, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Open to both new fellowship graduates and experienced providers.
- Candidates with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative approach are encouraged to apply.
