A growing palliative care program in Springfield, Missouri, is seeking a BE/BC physician to help advance and shape its inpatient and outpatient services. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to build a cohesive, patient-centred model and to foster interdisciplinary teamwork across the care continuum.
Position Highlights:- Lead the development of a collaborative inpatient and outpatient palliative care model.
- Work closely with a dynamic team of advanced practice providers and nurses, fostering a supportive and high-functioning clinical environment.
- Provide leadership and clinical oversight for both Ambulatory and Inpatient Palliative Care teams.
- Opportunities to teach medical students and residents, contributing to the education and growth of future clinicians.
- Participate in initial consults, develop comprehensive care plans, and guide ongoing patient care in coordination with the team.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with referring providers, promoting continuity and quality of care.
