RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with two shift options available: 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
• Call shifts approximately 5 times per 4-week schedule including 1-2 Saturdays per month
• 13-week assignment length
• Patient ratio of 2:1 in PACU setting
• Permanent Alaska RN license required for submission
• PACU experience mandatory - candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and RN license
• Work with telemetry monitoring, post cardiac equipment, cath devices, and orthopedic devices
• EMR system: EPIC
• Provide recovery care for deep sedation patients and management of post-procedural devices
• No floating to other units required
• Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs
• Overtime available
• Ideal candidates should be eager, compassionate, and caring
Facility:
This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive PACU/Recovery Room unit on the second floor of the main hospital building. The unit maintains a 2:1 patient ratio with specialized equipment including telemetry monitoring, post-cardiac devices, catheterization equipment, and orthopedic devices. The facility uses EPIC EMR system and focuses on recovery care for patients requiring deep sedation management and post-procedural device monitoring. The unit is staffed with charge nurses, staff RNs, and PCAs during day shifts, with on-call coverage during night hours.
