Enterprise Medical Recruiting is actively seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified GI Hospitalist to join our esteemed Gastroenterology department in Peoria, Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare community and be part of a robust inpatient care team.
Practice Opportunity Details:
- Perform inpatient consults and procedures for Gastroenterology.
- Manage annual consult and procedure volumes at 3 Hospitals.
- Work a schedule of 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, providing 24-hour coverage from Monday to Sunday, in-house from 7 am to 7 pm. Shifts will include holidays as part of the normal schedule rotation.
- Benefit from full-time Advanced Practitioner support for daytime coverage.
- Collaborate within a 24/7 hospitalist program responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for streamlined patient care.
- Triage calls for GI and round on patients at all three hospital campuses.
- Perform EUS procedure and ERCP.
- Participate in biweekly colorectal tumor boards.
- One hospital is a 349-bed Level II Trauma Center, ranked in the state of Illinois for patient outcomes.
