Job DescriptionAs a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working with a diverse patient population, including trauma cases. This position involves floating to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide care for a variety of emergency conditions, including trauma and critical care.
- Monitor patient status and execute interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
- Must be willing to care for COVID patients.
