Job Details:
• Work full-time schedule of 36 hours per week plus 2 on-call shifts in 4 weeks
• Rotational schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Apply nursing knowledge and skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions
• Evaluate patient progress and coordinate care delivery throughout patient episodes
• Conduct patient and family education to assist in understanding self-care beyond hospitalization
• Promote comfort and provide emotional support in a healing environment
• Demonstrate skill in medication administration and various nursing interventions
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS
• New York State RN licensure required
• Minimum 1 year experience serving in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required
• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated
