We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Client Services I to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in Los Angeles, CA.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Works with external clients to resolve day-to-day issues and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY.
- Supports clients in addressing operational and technical questions or issues and ensuring requests are executed.
- Support onboarding of new clients and facilitate smooth transitions.
- Assist with account setup, maintenance, and transaction processing.
- Collaborate with advisors and internal teams to deliver high quality service to a specialized client base.
- Provide clients with information related to BNY products and services representing a limited number of lines of business and geographies and directs them to the appropriate resources, as needed.
- Monitors client inquiries and escalate non-routine or complex issues to the appropriate team member, as needed.
- Ensure accuracy, ownership, organization, and prioritization in all tasks related to general client issues and needs to support business development efforts.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client service and contribute to process improvements.
- Adhere to BNY’s policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 0-3 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
- Ability to leverage a general understanding of broader BNY services and offerings.
- No direct people leadership responsibilities.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
