Join our team, located near Arlington, MN, for a locum tenens assignment in Hematology/Oncology.
Assignment Details:
- Specialty: Hematology/Oncology
- Shift Type: Days, with night call (1 evening per 6; 5 pm to 8 am)
- Weekend Requirements: As part of the schedule
- On Call Requirements: Night call
- Mandated Job Requirements: Board Certified in both Med Onc and Hem (Required). Must be boarded if finished fellowship in last 24-months. MN license at the time of submission (Required).

Additional Details:
- Reason for Coverage: Coverage while we recruit to replace two physicians that will be leaving the practice
- Ideal Candidate: Experienced, hard worker, good communicator, compassionate, kind, strong clinically, timely closure of files.
- Average Patients per Day: 10-20 (new vs. returning)
- Patient Breakdown: Benign Hem- 10%, Oncology- 90%
- Clinic vs. Inpatient Patients: Clinic: 15, Inpatient (Rounding): 10
- Rounding at the Hospital: Yes
- Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days from the time all documents are submitted
- Other Medical Oncologists on Staff: 5 oncologists
- Supporting Staff: 1 hospital NP; 3 clinic NP/PAs (Locum will not need to supervise)
- EMR: Epic
- Clinical Capabilities Required: Management of VAD/CV Catheters, assessment of port integrity, Chemotherapy - Intrathecal, Participation on a Tumor Board, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes, and Management of chemo-related side effects
