About this Role

We re seeking a board-eligible/board-certified general psychiatrist to join our multispecialty group. This role is an inpatient hospital-based coverage model (Inpatient unit, EmPATH unit, and consults) with outpatient clinic also. You ll also be a teaching faculty member for our MUSC Orangeburg Psychiatry Residency Program, collaborating with MUSC s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in Charleston for clinical support and resources.

MUSC Health Orangeburg Medical Center was first established in 1919 growing from a small private hospital into a robust regional health care system that joined the Medical University of South Carolina hospital network in 2023.
