CSSO Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Flexible float-pool role with exposure to multiple critical-care units and skill growth. Float Pool Registered Nurse (Critical Care). Full-time shift-based schedule at hospital; floating across ICU, CCU, ED, behavioral health as needed. Permanent position. - Graduate of accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) - Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU experience - Current compact RN license in appropriate state - NC-approved restrictive interventions training within 3 months for ED/BH units - Ability to work varied clinical areas and shifts

What We Offer:

Registered Nurses in the Float Pool are responsible for providing continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. The Float Pool RN is part of a resource team that is assigned to varying units during their shift to ensure that patient care needs are met. These RNs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in several different clinical areas. This group shall be known as the Float Pool. These employees are a part of Patient Care Services.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. BSN.
• Experience: Two years, required. ICU/CCU experience required.
• Licensure/Certification: Current compact RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Specialty Certification, Chemo Certification, Non Violent Crisis Intervention, Triage Course, NRP.
