Specialized Neurological Unit - Registered Nurse Schedule Details
- 3x12.0 hour shifts
- Rotating shift schedules
- Weekends and holidays required
- On-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs
- 48 hours straight time considered
Position Overview

- Work with interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
- Care for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome and more
- Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in the region with many acute and complex patients
- Work with specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion for patient population
Requirements
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) Years Experience
- Telemetry Experience Required
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- NIHSS certification highly preferred
