Overview
An established medical center in Colorado City, Colorado, is seeking a Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a balanced schedule including clinic, OR, and on-call responsibilities. You will join an established team with strong support from four advanced practice providers (APPs) and access to advanced neuro-navigation technology.

Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient, outpatient, and surgical neurosurgery care
Maintain a schedule of 2 clinic days, 2 OR days, plus one flex day weekly
Manage an average of 8 12 patients per clinic day alongside 3-4 PAs
Participate in 7 days of ER call per month (primarily remote imaging review, minimal in-person)
Cover approximately one weekend call per month
Build and grow an elective spine practice in an underserved community
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and coordinate care with on-site imaging and pain service
Shift Type & Hours
Full-time day shifts: 2 days clinic, 2 days OR, 1 flex day, plus on-call coverage with mostly remote ER imaging review. Weekend call approximately once per month.
Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Neurosurgeon through the ABNS (within 5 years of eligibility and pursuing certification within 4 years)
Active or eligible for Colorado medical license prior to start
Clean malpractice history required
DEA registration required before start
No visa sponsorship offered; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa support
