This position requires a skilled hospitalist to work primarily night shifts, with some day shifts available. The ideal candidate must be experienced, flexible, and open to working at two sites. Position Details: Specialty: Hospitalist Shift Type: Nights (7 on / 7 off), with some days available Shift Hours: Night shift: 7:00 PM ??? 7:00 AM Day shift: 7:00 AM ??? 7:00 PM (limited availability) Weekend Requirements: Yes On Call Requirements: None Responsibilities: Daily Census: 20-25 patients per team Night Admissions: Low, with 5-10 admissions early in the night Physician Shifts: 7:00 AM ??? 7:00 PM (2 physicians) 7:00 PM ??? 7:00 AM (1 physician) Daily encounters: 10-15 per physician APP Shifts: 7:00 AM ??? 7:00 PM (2 APPs) Daily encounters: 7-10 per APP ICU Beds: 8 beds (open ICU) Specialty Coverage: Cardiologist, neurologist, OB, pulmonology Required Skills: Hospitalists must be skilled in intubation and preferably central lines due to the open ICU. Code Response: Hospitalists respond to codes. Facility Details: Med-Surg Beds: 31 private rooms, can double up if needed EMR System: Epic Requirements: Board Certification: ABMS/AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or double boarded with ABPS. Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of recent hospitalist experience required. Procedural Logs: Must provide logs from the last 12 months, reflecting central lines, intubations, and vents.
