Position Summary:
CHRISTUS Health, a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services, is seeking a fellowship-trained breast radiologist to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have advanced training in breast imaging and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms (2D and 3D/tomosynthesis)
- Perform breast ultrasounds and MRI interpretations
- Conduct image-guided breast procedures (stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies, wire/localization procedures)
- Participate in multidisciplinary breast tumor boards
- Collaborate closely with breast surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and teaching (if applicable)
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Completion of an accredited breast imaging fellowship
- Eligible for medical licensure in Louisiana
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
