Job Details:
• Work emergency room night shift providing direct and indirect patient care
• Provide care with initiative, flexibility and responsibility with minimal supervision
• Perform safe, rapid and accurate triage based on physical and psychosocial needs
• Monitor factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system
• Communicate with ER physicians and APP providers regarding changes in patient status, symptoms and diagnostic study results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
• Work cooperatively with patients, families, physicians, APP providers, allied health staff and healthcare professionals
• Provide direction to Emergency Department technicians, registration staff and allied health staff
• Receive direction from Emergency Department Leader, providers and Chief Nursing Officer
• Position classified as rapid response crisis urgency
