WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in York, PA.
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 3x12.
- Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the facility EMR.
- Preps operating room for patient/procedure and assists other staff in breaking down the room.
- Assists in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient.
- Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens.
- Initiates corrective actions whenever needed.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current RN license for the state of Pennsylvania.
- 2 years of Operating Room RN experience is required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and OR certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
