Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work as a Med Surg Float pool RN with 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Minimum of 3-4 weekend shifts required in schedule rotation
• Holiday rotation required
• Float between med surg floors at Main hospital and Ashley River tower
• Patient ratios may vary depending on unit assigned (typically 6:1)
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 2 years of experience required, first-timers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• BLS certification required
• Dress code: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms
• EPIC charting system
• Skills include isolation precautions, med/surg care, oxygen administration, IV management, and use of rapid response teams
• Care for adult patients with various medical and surgical conditions
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required June through November
