Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts with staggered start times between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM
• No holidays, weekends, or on-call requirements
• Daily caseload of 4-10 patients per technologist
• Float between SJCH and SMP (North Charleston clinic) locations
• Must have 2 years of experience (first-timers accepted)
• Required certifications: Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification (must be in hand at start)
• BLS certification required
• Must be proficient in complex congenital heart defects and pediatric echocardiograms
• Experience with GE (Vivid 95) and PACS system for entering full reports preferred
• Extensive knowledge of complex heart disease and defects required
• MD reference highly recommended
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Non-billable modules average 4 hours, completed pre-start
