The healthcare system is a multi-clinic, single hospital system, providing services to patients from Northeast Missouri, Southeast Iowa and West-Central Illinois. They recently announced a $61 million dollar renovation and expansion, scheduled to be completed in 2020. The medical group is a multi-specialty group practice consisting of 18 specialties and 45+ providers. The state of the art office is located in Medical Office Building attached to the hospital. The group currently has an existing board certified Neurologist. This position offers the perfect balance of an out-patient practice and in-patient consults. Practice Highlights: Join an established Inpatient/Outpatient Neurology Practice - Inpatient Rehab Unit General Neurology, open to sub-specialty training, can market special training and interests to build but will need to do general in addition Typically a 4 day a week schedule Neurologist has the option within their practice to allow self-referrals or have a referral-only practice 12-16 patients per day Required to take a minimum of 10 days ED/Unassigned call per month. Additional days are compensated at approximately $580/day.
