Job Overview:
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Shift Technicians to support equipment maintenance operations in a solar panel manufacturing facility. Technicians in this role are crucial to ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment and minimizing downtime.
Schedule:
Training: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
After Training: 6AM-6:30PM or 6PM-6:10AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule
Pay: $24.00/hr Base + $1.00 (Night shift Differential)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Quickly diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions to maintain production flow.
- Monitor and manage parts inventory for timely repairs and replacements.
- Follow all safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance tasks and submit reports as needed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure smooth operations
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical education in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus.
Up to 5 years of experience in equipment or facilities maintenance.
Ability to read and analyze electrical and mechanical schematics.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production facility.
- Familiarity with maintaining automated production lines.
