  • Unit Information:
    • Beds: 2 dedicated EP labs (5 Cath Labs total)
    • Volume: 6-10 EP cases per day; 15-20 total cases per day for overall department
    • Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 with Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience
    • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
  • Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
    • Comprehensive arrhythmia evaluation, AFib, Aflutter, SVT, PVC, VT, Pacemakers (transvenous and leadless), ICD, EV-ICD, lead extractions; Watchman
  • Required Licensure & Certification:
    • WA State Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Nurse (RN)
    • BLS, ACLS
  • Skills required:
    • Experience with above listed procedures, scrub and operate table simultaneously
    • Monitoring –
      • EMR: EPIC (CUPID)
      • PACS: Picom - experience preferred
      • Hemodynamics: Merge – experience preferred
      • C-arm: Philips Azurion and GE Alea – experience not required
    • Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, including:
      • Ventricular tachycardia ablations
      • Atrial fibrillation ablations
      • Atrial flutter and SVT ablations
      • Comprehensive arrhythmia evaluations
    • Support all implantable cardiac device procedures, including:
      • Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)
      • Pacemakers (transvenous and leadless)
      • Subcutaneous ICD implants
      • EV-ICDs
      • Lead Extractions
      • Watchman Device Implants
    • Operate and troubleshoot EP-specific equipment (mapping systems, stimulators, recording systems, ablation generators).
    • Scrub, circulate, and monitor during EP and device procedures in accordance with lab standards.
    • Maintain a safe and efficient procedural environment with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and patient safety.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless workflow and excellent patient experiences.
