Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology
Join a dynamic and supportive team at a busy hospital-based setting in Lansing, Michigan. This facility is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to become part of a 3-physician and 2-APP Interventional Radiology team that provides essential hospital services, operating primarily during day shifts with Q3 call coverage. The practice offers a collaborative atmosphere, with a focus on adult patient care and a range of interventional procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including:
- Angioplasty
- Stent placement
- Embolization
- Needle biopsy
- Thrombolysis
- Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
- Ortho, Gynecology, and Urology cases as needed
- Participate in a rotating call schedule (Q3)
- Collaborate effectively with support staff including a manager and two APPs
- Document procedures accurately in the EMR system
- Provide high-quality care to primarily adult patients, including geriatric populations
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (required)
- Active State Medical License in Michigan (required)
- BLS and ACLS Certifications (required)
- Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred)
- Local providers preferred; travel arrangements considered for those who can commit to 3+ weeks of coverage per month
License and Certification Requirements:
