The role involves working closely with students, teachers, and parents to enhance student learning and social-emotional development. Bridgeport is a city full of life and culture, boasting attractions like Quassy Amusement and Waterpark, and the scenic environments at the Maritime Aquarium.As a School Psychologist, you will be working primarily within elementary and middle school settings, conducting assessments, and providing interventions and support. The typical day includes evaluating student needs, collaborating with teachers for classroom interventions, and supporting students through group or individual counseling sessions. Required Qualifications
Psychologist, School

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
State Certification and / or Licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working in a School Setting


Preferred Qualifications
Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions
Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members
Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
