Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Welder - Fabricator to join their team. As a Welder - Fabricator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Welder - Fabricator
Location: Anniston, AL
Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00/hour
Shift: Monday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Perform MIG welding on various materials using 0.35/0.45 wire.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately.
- Use a tape measure to ensure precise measurements.
- Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Participate in weld tests at the Gadsden, AL location, including fillet weld (T-joint) tests.
What's Needed?
- Proven welding skills with 4+ years of experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Comfortable working with overhead cranes and measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Willingness to work overtime, including some Sundays, during peak periods.
