Faculty Hematologist/Oncologist role in Buffalo, NY; permanent full-time with 4 clinical days + 1 administrative day; inpatient consults and outpatient clinic; 6-week call schedule with hospitalist backup; academic appointment (Clinical Asst/Assoc Prof). - Board-certified/eligible in Hematology/Oncology

Full description
Currently seeking Hematologist/Oncologist for a rapidly expanding cancer program that supports more than 550 physicians.
-Physicians will see patients in a robust and supportive clinical setting and receive a generous compensation package.
-There will be many opportunities to participate in clinical and translational research, including investigator-initiated research.
-Faculty will hold an academic title at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Profession level, and have ample opportunities for teaching medical students, residents and fellows.
-Team currently consists of 6 Hematologists/Medical Oncologists, 5 APPs, and a full support staff.
-Program also employs physicians from all oncology specialties with the exception of bone marrow transplant, and offers true multidisciplinary care.
-4 day clinical work week + 1 administrative day to complete documentation, participate in teaching, cultivate research interests, etc.
-6 week call with hospitalist coverage for inpatients
-Inpatient consult service and outpatient responsibilities
-Participation in clinical trials strongly encouraged
-80% Medical Oncology / 20% Hematology
