Position Type: Locum Physician Plastic Surgery

Full-time Plastic Surgery locum opportunity with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The role includes clinic, OR, trauma call, and ER consults, with flexible block scheduling options available ASAP.

• Full-time locum need
• Clinic and OR-based practice with 2 4 OR days per week
• Trauma call, ER consults, in-office consults, and procedures
• Reconstructive collaboration with breast surgery teams
• Treats surgical and cosmetic patients of all ages
• Teaching opportunities available
• Epic EMR
• Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy onsite
• Strong nursing and ancillary support

• Board Certified REQUIRED
• Active Iowa license OR Active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear) REQUIRED
• Must be experienced REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and background REQUIRED
• Must be available for either 7 on / 7 off OR 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off REQUIRED

• Clinic hours: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:30 PM
• 36 patient contact hours per week
• 16+ clinic visits per full day ( minute appointments)
• Procedure/OR days: 2 4 per week
• On call: Soft tissue call + clinic call / EMTALA
• Initial coverage may begin as call-only, with clinic/OR needs reviewed
