Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for the Emergency Department, requiring an active OH or compact RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a rural, 99-bed community hospital
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 4 shifts per week (48 hours/week)
- 13-week contract assignment
- Block scheduling may be available on a case-by-case basis
- Use of Paragon and Allscripts EMR systems
- Travelers may be floated to similar units but not outside their acuity level
- Free parking available in unrestricted areas
- Must be willing to work holidays as required by the assignment
- Local candidates are considered at the posted rate as the radius rule is currently waived
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Candidates should submit a copy of their driver’s license and Social Security card
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- At least 2 years of emergency department RN experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
- Experience with Paragon or Allscripts EMR preferred
