Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm - 36 Guaranteed hours
Start dates are typically negotiable
Must have:
? 2 years of acute care experience
? ACLS, NIH, BLS
? Must be able to manage 6-7 patients depending on the shift.
? Urology and bowel experience (that’s our two biggest patient populations)
Procedures performed on unit:
? TPN, PCA, Wound Vacs, Tube feeds, PEG tubes, dobhoffs, NG tubes, Colostomies and urostomies
? Drains: biliary, JP, nephrostomy, urinary catheters, CBI
? Heparin drips, IV antibiotics
? Cholecystectomies, appendectomies, podiatry, bowel resections, plastics, urology surgeries and nephrectomies, hysterectomies, mastectomies, oral/maxillary, thyroidectomies, hernia repairs
