Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Psychiatry unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health nursing and demonstrate the ability to provide compassionate care to patients.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for psychiatric patients, ensuring safety and security.
- Implement and evaluate care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Monitor and document patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Engage in therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques as necessary.
- Current RN licensure.
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Nationally recognized de-escalation certification (AVADE, CPI, PRO-Act, MOAB, etc.) required.
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
