This locum tenens Neurohospitalist position in Michigan involves hospital rounding, patient consultation, and collaboration with a team of neurovascular doctors and APPs. The role requires managing 10-15 patients daily with flexible scheduling and offers excellent compensation including paid malpractice insurance and travel expenses. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible within 3 years of residency completion to work at a prominent healthcare facility.

In my years of experience this type of position has been filled quickly so I recommend that any interested candidates reply back with a copy of their updated CV at their earliest convenience.- Neurohospitalist shifts available starting in May 2017 and running through at least the end of the year.- Will see 10-15 patients per day.- Shifts are 8a-5p, seven days a week. Flexible scheduling to work when you can.- Hospital rounding begins after the patient list is reviewed at 8am.- The group (2 neurovascular doctors & 2 neurovascular dedicated APPs daily, along with a neurohospitalist and dedicated APP) reviews the patient list and divides it evenly among themselves. - They determine who will see any new consults and who will see follow ups.- May have the opportunity to work at smaller sister hospital and round without APP.- We have a stroke primary service available for questions as well.- All adult and geriatric medicine.Must be board certified or board eligible if within 3 years of residency completion.
