American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of cerebral scrubbing experience for an acute care hospital assignment in California.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care hospital in the Interventional Radiology department
- Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call required, minimum of 12 call days per 6 week schedule including weekends
- Must be willing to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
- Charting is done using Epic EMR
- May need to float between Providence Mission Viejo and Mission Laguna hospitals
- Adult patient population with a focus on cerebral interventional procedures
- Required to float between all facilities within the state as needed
- Failure to float as required may result in termination of assignment
- Must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 key holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day)
- All requested time off must be included at time of consideration; additional requests post-offer may not be accommodated
- Orientation modules are completed pre-start and take an average of 16 hours
- Free parking is provided
- Scrubs for OR are provided; RN scrubs are royal blue
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology with cerebral scrubbing expertise
- Current BLS, Fluoroscopy Permit, and active CA state license required
- CA state license must be in hand at time of consideration; no temporary licenses accepted
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must provide two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years
- First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
- Must not live within 50 miles of the facility to qualify for travel position
