We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our dynamic team in San Francisco, CA. This role demands extensive experience in data governance and stewardship, with a focus on retail industry practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee data stewardship initiatives within a merchandising environment.
- Implement and manage data quality management systems to ensure high standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline product and customer data processes.
- Present insightful data analysis and recommendations to C-Suite executives.
- Drive the adoption of data governance tools and methodologies.
Skills
- Proven expertise in data stewardship or governance roles within the retail sector.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with data governance tools like Collibra and Alation.
- Excellent leadership and presentation skills.
- Preferred to have understanding of Data Catalog, Data Quality, and Metadata Management, along with technical skills in Python
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Stibo PIM and Profisee product master data tools.
- Understanding of product hierarchy structures in both physical stores and e-commerce platforms.
