As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with the public, and support access control. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, remaining alert to unusual or suspicious activities.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or activity within the assigned government facility.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and/or law enforcement as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
Support law enforcement personnel on site by providing information and assistance as directed.
Maintain proper handling and control of assigned firearms and adhere to all applicable regulations and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
