The Gastroenterology Physician will provide inpatient hospitalist services at a regional referral center, working a 7 on/7 off schedule and managing 20-25 patients per day. Responsibilities include performing general GI procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs, supported by advanced practice providers during weekdays. The role requires full-time coverage split between two MDs, working with Cerner EMR in a multi-hospital system setting.
