Key Responsibilities
Respond quickly to leads via phone, text, email, and social media
Build relationships with potential clients and understand their vision
Qualify leads and gather project details (budget, site, timeline)
Design custom building layouts with clients and prepare detailed proposals
Explain pricing, materials, and timelines in clear, accessible language
Follow up consistently to move leads through the pipeline
Maintain detailed notes and update CRM or sales board regularly
Coordinate with the project management team to ensure smooth handoffs
Stay current on product offerings, supplier updates, and pricing changes
Provide excellent customer service from first contact through project kickoff
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in construction, real estate, or design
Basic construction knowledge—especially in post-frame, barndominiums, or steel buildings—is a plus
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
High level of organization and follow-through
Ability to design basic building layouts and work through customer needs
Tech-savvy—comfortable with CRM tools, email, and digital quoting
Self-motivated and able to manage a high volume of leads
Honest, dependable, and customer-first mindset
