The Director of Sales leads all sales activities for a select service hotel, developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue. They maintain existing client relationships while securing new accounts and collaborate with management to align sales plans with overall business goals. The role requires strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and experience in hotel sales management.

Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the total sales activity of the hotels / executing sales and marketing strategies.
- Plan and implement ongoing action plans and sales activity/strategies.
- Maintain existing accounts and securing new accounts.
- Collaborate with GMs to Develop and Maintain Marketing plan and Sales budget.
- Participates in Revenue Management meetings /strategies using brand system and industry-driven sales tools
- Coordinate group, transient, and Negotiated Rates to maximize revenues and profits
Sales Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years in a hotel sales management role
- Strong financial acumen, Business planning, forecasting, sales budget
- Hands-on and ownership mentality
- Computer skills, Systems, spreadsheets, organization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - articulate
- High energy and positive demeanor with strong networking impetus
