Reporting to the EHS manager at our Council Bluffs manufacturing facility, local producers of Marie Callendar, Healthy Choice, Banquet products and more, you will support the plant's Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability programs by integrating safety and environmental practices into daily operations. You will manage plant-level EHS projects, training, and compliance programs, working with teams such as Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality.

What Affect Will You Have on our Business?

• Collaborate with your team and subject matter experts to design and implement plant-specific EHS programs.
• Support project planning and execution for EHS programs, ensuring understanding of plant goals and implementation.
• Support the development and rollout of standardized safety programs tailored to plant operations.
• Coordinate internal EHS audits, including scheduling, reporting, and tracking corrective actions to closure.
• Support emergency preparedness programs, including evacuation drills and severe weather response plans.
• Develop and deliver EHS training content for plant personnel.
• Maintain and report important safety and environmental metrics (weekly, monthly, annually) to plant leadership.
• Be a resource for continuous improvement in safety culture and regulatory compliance.

Do You Have What it Takes?

• Bachelor's degree (Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or other related field).
• Experience leading teams
• 2+ years of experience in project management or EHS roles within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience presenting training and reports to leadership.
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory standards

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
