Job Details:

• Work 36 or 48 hours per week with flexible scheduling options
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on a 13-bed medical-surgical unit
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• One call shift required per 6-week schedule
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Daily census ranges from 10-13 patients
• Patient diagnoses include post-op, orthopedic, diabetes, pneumonia, wound care, CBI, and urology cases
• Unit does not provide telemetry monitoring or cardiovascular drips
• 2 years of experience required with travel experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience of 5:1 required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Allscripts charting system experience preferred
• Must be at least 150 miles from facility
• Facility conducts mandatory drug screening upon arrival including marijuana testing
• Must complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Hard document due date: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
• Non-billable modules averaging 6-8 hours completed during orientation
