Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing position in Janesville, WI with a day shift schedule and active WI or compact license required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Day shift schedule with rotation between weekday and weekend shifts
- Schedule may include one day shift per week
- May be required to float to other in-patient units as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved standards
- Document care in accordance with facility and state guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
- Use clinical expertise to support patient care across units
- Utilize critical thinking for patient safety and escalation when needed
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS or BCLS certification required
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or similar setting preferred
