- Full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen
- Part of the University of Maryland Medical System
- University hospital with excellent specialty support
- Average 15 patients/day
- Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes
- Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs
- EMR: EPIC
- Beds 257
- Trauma Level Level II
- Board certified/eligible in internal or family medicine
- Responsibilities include rounds, admissions, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary rounds, geographic rounds, participant in rapid response and code team. Swing shift rotation covers admissions and new consults during the day.
