Job Details:
• Work 4 x 10 hour shifts Monday-Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with 1 variable day off per week
• Call requirement: 1 night per week and 1 weekend (Saturday/Sunday) during 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• 40-hour orientation required
• Must have 3 years experience required, 4 years preferred
• Travel experience required - will not accept first time travelers
• C-Section experience required and trauma/gunshot wound experience required
• Must have general OR experience across multiple specialties
• EPIC charting system experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, PALS
• Must be comfortable working with all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Float within hospital as needed
• Work in busy rural hospital with 5 ORs until 3:00 PM, then 3 ORs until 5:00 PM
• Experience required in general surgery, OB/GYN with c-sections, orthopedic procedures, pediatric orthopedics, ophthalmology, vascular, urology, and pulmonology procedures
• Must be proficient with special equipment including Mako robot
• Daily census of approximately 25 patients across 5 operating rooms

The facility provides general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology including cesarean sections, orthopedic procedures with total joint replacements, pediatric orthopedics, ophthalmology, vascular surgery, urology, and pulmonary procedures. The hospital features modern equipment including the advanced Mako robotic surgical system and maintains interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
