The role involves office coverage with patient encounters, managing both routine and complicated deliveries, and performing various gynecological procedures. Opportunity:
Board Certification Eligible - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Office coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with additional call requirements
• Average of 5 patient encounters per shift
• Kentucky medical license required
• 30-day credentialing timeframe
• Multiple certifications required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Preferred skills include management of low and high-risk pregnancies
• FHR interpretation capabilities (NST/CST/FSE) preferred
• Performance and interpretation of OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted) preferred
• Amniocentesis skills preferred
• Experience with routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-sections
• Ability to manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions preferred
• VBAC experience preferred
• Skilled in repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations preferred
• Office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) preferred
• Surgical gynecology experience preferred, including open procedures and laparoscopic procedures
• Experience with operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's preferred
• Laser certification preferred
• Long-term assignment starting 12/29/2025
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
