Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least one year of PCU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Scheduling options include 3x12 hour or 4x12 hour day shifts (6:30 to 19:00)
• No call responsibilities
• Self-scheduling is available
• General orientation begins on Sundays, with online CBLs completed on the first day
• RN team members are expected to support and provide clinical education to nursing students
• Holiday coverage will rotate among staff as part of scheduling
• No local candidates accepted within a 100-mile radius

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of one year of PCU experience required
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Charge experience is preferred but not required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Candidate must live at least 100 miles from the facility
