Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides comprehensive, holistic nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires advanced certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC, and at least one year of recent critical care or emergency department experience. This position involves responding to emergency calls, supporting ambulance teams, and adhering to regulatory standards while promoting patient-centered outcomes.
BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to:
ADN: $7,500
BSN: $10,000

- Deliver Comprehensive Care: Provide nursing care that is holistic, compassionate, and centered on the individual needs of each patient.
- Exercise Professional Autonomy: Take responsibility for your nursing practice by making informed decisions and promoting health, recognizing that quality care is a universal right.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with patients and a multidisciplinary team to assess concerns, identify issues, and integrate both subjective and objective data.
- Implement and Evaluate Care Plans: Develop tailored care plans, apply appropriate interventions, and continuously evaluate patient outcomes to enhance overall care quality.
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
Pediatric Advanced Life support (PALS) certification within 1 year
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 2 years
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 2 years
Must Meet the Following Qualifications:
One year of Critical Care experience (includes ICU, PACU, 24 Hour Care) or Emergency Department experience in an ED with a yearly census greater than 20,000. All experience must be within the last 5 years.
