Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring that safe, age-appropriate patient care is provided during hours of unit operation. Functions as role model, advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team. Unified by the core purpose of creating a healthier community one person at a time, the members of the Division of Patient Care Services commit themselves to sustaining a culture focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes. REQUIREMENTS:
- BSN from a CCNE accredited School of Nursing. In addition, a MSN, MS, MA, MHA or MBA is preferred.
- 3 years of experience required/ 5 years progressive nursing experience preferred in a specified field with preference for demonstrated progression in supervisory responsibilities.
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support per unit guideline.
- AHA Advanced Life Support per unit guidelines.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Neonatal resuscitation program per unit guidelines.
- Nat'l Cert. (preferred w/i 1 year of hire)
