Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience required
• Level I trauma experience required with previous travel experience
• Must be proficient in scrubbing and circulating
• Must function independently with DaVinci xi robot (bonus for DV5 familiarity)
• Required proficiency in robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties
• Must work independently in all specialties: Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac), and Trauma
• Weekend requirements: 3-4 weekend shifts within 6-week matrix (day, evening, or night shifts)
• Holiday coverage per department need (day, evening, or night shifts)
• Call requirements: 2-3 calls within 6-week matrix with 30-minute callback response
• Patient ratio of 1:1 across all shifts
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates through geriatrics
• Work in 18-room operating suite with daily census of 50-60
• Maximum 7-day requested time off per contract
• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Pennsylvania nursing license required with no license hits accepted
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)

This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 593-bed hospital with an advanced 18-room operating suite. The facility specializes in Level I trauma care and maintains state-of-the-art robotic surgical capabilities including DaVinci xi and DV5 systems. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and comprehensive specialty care across multiple surgical disciplines excluding cardiac and neurosurgical procedures.
