Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a low birth center setting, requiring an IA or compact RN license and Labor & Delivery certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a low birth center within a hospital setting
- Day shift position with every other weekend possible
- Floating to med/surg may be required
- Provide nursing care to mothers and newborns in a low birth center environment
- Must be prepared to float to med/surg as needed
Requirements
- Active IA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor & Delivery, including experience with mothers and newborns
- Experience in a critical access hospital setting preferred
