Overview
Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing across multiple lab divisions while supporting quality patient care in a hospital-based laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and assigned laboratory testing with accuracy
- Follow quality control, calibration, and maintenance protocols
- Use LIS systems for reporting and documentation
- Assist with training students and new lab staff
- Participate in competency assessments and performance improvement
- Weekend backup call rotation as assigned
Requirements
- MLT, CLT (ASCP), or MLT (AMT) certification (or eligible)
- Certification required within 1 year of hire
- Knowledge of CLIA regulations and laboratory standards
- General lab experience preferred
